How do you apply for a credit card?

I know by 21 you’d think I’d have one by now. But unforuntely no one ever showed me how to apply?

Also, if you’d be nice enough to explain step by step and when it comes (by mail) or whatever. I am totally clue less?

If you have a checking or savings account already then I would suggest going to your bank first and asking them to help you obtain one. If you don’t then do your research to see which credit card best suites your lifestyle..such as if you’re a student look for cards that emphasize that. Be careful when applying though because most credit card companies will keep on file if you get denied and too many can make it even harder to obtain one. Once you apply you should get something in the mail letting you know if you’re approved or denied. If you’re approved you will probably need to fill out additional paperwork to send in, then you will recieve your card.

  3. you could apply for a credit card online all they need is your personal info such as income, address, phone number and other personal info, once you apply you should get a approved or declined answer once you get approved it takes about 7-10 days to get your card. on the card you get approved it all depends on your credit so if you apply for a Discover card and have no credit most likely you will get denied so make sure you apply depending on your credit history, check out http://www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com under the credit history.
